SAVOR IDAHO
Idaho’s Food and Wine Festival
Sunday, June 12, 2016
It’s early in the season but it’s the
perfect time for thinking ahead. Idaho’s Premier Food and Wine Festival is on the horizon.
Be sure to get your tickets early in
March so you don’t miss out.

It’s a beautiful day and you’ve decided to visit the Snake River Valley Wine Region. As you sweep down into the valley on Highway 55, the first area you come to is the Sunnyslope Trail. Here is where a large concentration of wineries are located.
First stop, Fujishin Family Cellars, formerly the old Robinson Fruit Ranch, is now a winery of its own. Step inside, and be pleasantly surprised at the hospitality and nice array of white and red wines.
Martin Fujishin is a man with a passion. Having assisted in many areas of the industry and studied under Greg Koenig at Koenig Winery and Distillery, he is not a stranger to the industry. As a winermaker/owner, he has a drive like no one I have ever met. His easy style and smiling face will make you feel at home.
Be sure to stop by when you are in the area. Try a few of my favorites-Viognier and Mourvedre.
